Indulge your inquisitive and creative side by visiting Las Cruces’s museums! Their fabulous exhibits provide an outlet to experience and understand a broad range of subject matters and topics. Exhibits change periodically, bringing us fresh, new and interesting examples of art, science, culture and history. No doubt you’ll find something of interest, if not today then in a future exhibit! Las Cruces currently has eight museums: The Branigan Cultural Center, The Museum of Art, The Museum of Natural History, The Railroad Museum, The New Mexico State University Museum, The Zuhl Geological Collection, Space Murals Inc. Museum, and the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Museum.
One exhibit I enjoyed recently was the King Tutankhamun exhibit at the Branigan Cultural Center. It was extremely informative and provided many beautiful & detailed examples of both King Tut and Egyptian culture during his reign. The New Mexico Farm & Ranch Museum and the Museum of Natural History often have children’s activities that provide youngsters with entertaining and fun ways to learn about various subject matters.
