USE “SCENTMOSPHERE” TO HELP SELL YOUR HOME

Here’s some interesting information according to an article I found written by Phoebe Chongchua in the Realty Times, “Scentmosphere” is rapidly becoming a way to attract buyers.
When potential buyers walk into a home before they actually see anything in that home, they get an impression (conscious or subconscious), of your home — just by the way it smells. Scents register in our brain and frequently remind us of our past experiences. Creating pleasant aromas in your newly-listed home can help the buyer to experience an emotional connection with the home.
The experts say that the smell of freshly-baked cookies, french vanilla, butter cream, or others that mimic baking scents are welcoming and inviting for buyers. The experts also say to use different scents around your home (such as vanilla, kitchen spice fragrances, citrus, and the smell of freshly cleaned laundry), in bathrooms & great rooms.
Candles seem to be the best way to get the fragrant aroma in the air, but if you don’t have time to let them burn before showing your home there are other methods that work. There are electrical plug-in products that have oil in them so they provide continuous fragrance. Also, reed diffusers are both decorative and powerful for giving off fragrance.
I hope that you have found this information helpful and I look forward to your comments, questions, and suggestions. Just Click on the Comments hot link below this posting.
