Of all the social media outlets, most people seem to shy away from Twitter. Before I joined, I didn’t really understand the benefits - or even the point - of “tweeting.” However, after a few months of being a “Twitterer,” I now understand that it’s a great platform for sharing information, ideas, and conversation.

I came across this video the other day and thought it did a great job of explaining exactly what Twitter is. Terms like “micro-blogging” and “e-texting” often come across in a confusing way, and these guys do a great job of explaining whatever topic they’re covering. A month or so ago, I blogged about their video on RSS Feed and someone in my office said they finally figured out how to use their Google Reader after watching it. This video is only a couple of minutes long, and I think it’s very beneficial to anyone wanting to take part in the social media spectrum. I hope you take some time to watch it and enjoy!
