Tone your Body and Mind
Over the years I have taken a couple of these classes and have grown to love them for a few reasons—they are inexpensive, they are taught by instructors who truly LOVE their subject, and classes span from a few hours to eight or more weeks. I can learn something that I have always been curious about without having to feel like I have to become an expert in it right away, as the instructors are good about letting you decide what level you want to get to by the end of the session.
Community Education provides opportunities to:
* explore one’s interests
* learn and develop skills
* increase effectiveness on the job
* discover new hobbies
* tone body and mind
This year I am still undecided as to what I want to take, but I tell you what, I have a feeling that a few of my grand kids are going to be interested in some of the youth classes: Face/Body Painting, Acoustic Guitar 101 for Kids, Beginning Junior Tennis, and the Scholastic Chess Program that will more than likely be offered again this summer.
For a full catalog or to registration for summer classes (which starts soon), visit the community education site to download a registration form,
